COVID-19
The Covid-19 pandemic has short down the world, creating serious economic and social disorder worldwide. This has made situation even more difficult for our members (cocoa farmers), as the impact of the virus is affecting them in both their profession and daily live. Governments of cocoa-producing countries have taken restrictive measures but filed to put in place any sort of support.
Your support will bring great relief the lives of cocoa farmers and their family. In every amount you can donate, you are contributing in providing to our members the necessary needs hygiene kit to protect members and their family against Covid-19 e.g. soap, mask and sanitizer.
CHILD RIGHTS TO EDUCATION
In many cocoa growing communities in west and central Africa, millions of children are playing divers roles in the production of cocoa beans instead to be in school. This unsustainable practice is because of many reasons including poverty as a result of low cocoa bean price, and lack of other source of income generation by parent (cocoa farmers).
It is not that a cocoa farmer doesn’t want their child to go to school, but as a result of lack of finance. With your support you will help a child (girl or a boy) to go to school. Any amount can make a difference in a child’s life.
